In 2013, the EU accounted for 31.5 percent of imports of meat and meat subproducts to Russia, 42.6 per cent of dairy products, 32.4 percent of imported vegetables, and 23.7 percent of imported fruit and nuts. Norway provided almost 40 percent of Russia's fish and seafood products. The U.S., Canada and Australia had a small share of imports of meat products (10 percent for all three countries), fish and seafood products (7 percent) and fruit and nuts (4 percent for U.S.), according to data of the Federal Customs Service for 2013.
